And, these were taken last Sunday in our back yard woods:
I have also been collecting mica, it just shines so beautifully on the road and ground. I should carry a bucket with me to collect it as I am always filling doggy bags!
My daughter came to visit us this weekend, I think! She came to get her new puppy" Hunter". He is seven weeks now and she came three weeks ago to pick him from the litter of puppies that my male golden retriever rescue" Bailey" fathered!
They also surprised me with a fabulous birthday chairs!
I very much appreciate your comments and reading my blog!
I am adding this post to Carol of May Dreams Gardens who is having an August Bloom Day Party! I found this party from Frances of Fairegarden who I follow with envy! She is a wonderful gardener and photographer and I hope to find many new gardening friends!
I am also linking up with Etsy Cottage Style Blog Pn What's In Your Garden?
See many fine Gardeners on both of these blogs!

Cyndi I like your mushroom pics! Very interesting and pretty. I've never seen so many different mushrooms here. What a sweet puppy your daughter has and how lucky that you received such nice chairs for your birthday.
Happy Birthday!
Mary
P.S. your Blog looks so familiar!
Very cool...I've always been fascinated by mushrooms
Really different mushrooms - I love the one on the log that looks like sea coral. And that puppy is pure happiness!
