2nd Annual Button Floozies Swap

Deb at Dragonfly Treasures featured a Deb's favorites Treasury at the Etsy Cottage Style Showcase   Blog  and I clicked on many of the fabulous items seen there; when I visited Michele at

Michele's Treasures, Teacups, & Tumbling Rose Cottage

I saw on her sidebar a link to the Button Swap and followed it.  I have many buttons I have collected over the years and many altoid tins among others also. It is about time I learned to decorated one to upcycle. There are fabulous directions on the Button Blog link to E- Crafty for directions.

So, I signed up for the Button Swap at Button Floozies blog with Laurie who is hosing this event!

I can't wait to get started!

I have been working on bringing many of my potted flowers and plants inside for the cold weather we are having. It was 46 degrees here this morning and my elephants ears are turning yellow along with many other plants. I hate digging them up but they have done so beautifully this year I hate to lose them to the cold weather. Some folks say dig them up and others say leave them alone, So, I think I will try to be on the safe side and just dig them up. When I brought them here from Alabama I put them in peat soil in a plastic tub and stored them in our warehouse and planted them in the spring.

Cyndi,

I saw your comment over at Gail's Clay and Limestone. I love the design of your blog with the sun and moon. Adorable. I also totally get elephant ears. Here in Oklahoma, they sometimes overwinter, sometimes not.~~Dee

I love elephant ears have only a couple of plants. Here in CA they stay good all year, especially the ones in our patio Aren't those huge leaves the best? Yours look really good. I also like moss and grow it in small round pots around the pond. Smiles, Lu
