Barkley, Emma, Blck and Blu

This is a typical weekend when Barkley visits. Emma loves to have him over and Blu has started a new fun time at the sink. I tried the red harness yesterday, he got out of it twice and thru peephole Emma looks thru to see Bison our neighbor's Black Lab. So, I hate to board it up. I also woke this AM to find Blck in the hallway with a toy mouse, I THOUGHT! AHHHH, he got a real mouse, his first one and I hope last one, but we did have some last year. I wish I knew how they get in, but Now I have my mouser trap, When I woke up, Blu was sleeping in our bed curled up with Emma. Hurray for Blck! Smiles, Cyndi

OH NO...a dead mouse...poor mousie...and when my cats catch them, I worry about them catching something. We get them about this time of year, I think they come into the yard looking for water. The cats catch lizards and legless lizards, too (the look like little snakes)...yikes...

Hello. Back in July I had a blog give away for some Belle Armoire magazines. The winner of the jewelry magazine has not responded to the MANY emails for her address. I was wondering if you would still be interested in this lovely magazine? If so, please email me at

whats worse than a dead mouse in the house? how about half a mouse? that's what we found one morning...poor thing got half way into the furnace vent before it was done away with...our cats make quick work of any mouse who dares to flick a whisker.
