Meet my new Grand dog Golden Retriever " Hunter"

Last weekend my daughter and son-in-law came to N.C. to pick out Hunter, our Bailey's puppy at 4 weeks. He can't go home yet but, he will get a collar to mark him as taken for other who may come to see them.  It was not long before he was selected. He was the biggest and darkest ears and huge feet.

He does huge feet to follow from Barkley my grand dog that passed in January 2012. It has been 7 months and a long miss of him and his love! Although I do feel it still! He was 12 almost so many, many years of loving us!

Hunter already has folks asking how he is and when he is coming! When Lisa posted photos to her face book page she got many replies immediately how they cannot wait to meet him in another 4 weeks.
They have a business called "Big Dog Trading Co." and Barkley was the mascot for them.  Well, Little Hunter will grow but will be "Little Dog" for awhile. LOL!

He barely reaches from my hand to elbow when lying on my arm.  They are ALL so cute and loveable and their mom has taken such wonderful care of them! She came to look on as we were holding them across the baby gate to the room they sleep in.

She is getting very raw from their nails and teeth which I can verify are sharp from them biting my ankles and they even untied shoelaces.  Talk about good already! The other puppies loved to pull on the collar put on "Hunter".

Bailey and Samantha look so much alike he will have to grow up looking like them. They have deep reddish brown to golden color coats and are medium size dogs, at least compared to Emma the big sister and his predecessor, "Barkley".

Here are a few more photos as Grandma could not stop, they are so adorable!

We will see him again soon, counting down the days!
Smiles, Cyndi
