Pray for Mary
It has been an up and down week for me and hard to put thoughts into words. My dear friend Mary, for whom I dog-sit, (it started out that I dog-sat my real grand-dog Ally whose is Barkley’s sister until she passed Spring 2008 along with my Megan, her mother a month later. If you remember we had the double memorial ceremony at the river where Ally and Megan both loved to play and romp with Maggie and Jordan also, all four Golden Retrievers. We have become close friends and I love her so very much.
She is in the photos of the Memorial Service at the river back in my older posts July 2008. Well, she was having some intestinal problems and just in the time span of three weeks went from feeling fine to her chemotherapy treatment for Extra Ovarian Cancer. Well, she now has one down and five to go, But, my heart aches for her and her husband. They have both grown so close to my husband and I in our hearts. I think and pray for her daily and her family.
All I can do is to send her cards to let her know that we are thinking of her always and with phone updates. We did go to be with her family during the exploritory surgery and when they found out the cause of her problems.
She just turned 66 and it seems this is about the time this cancer ravishes women's bodies, It could be any of us. I thank all my friends who include her in their prayers.
