My Birthday, August 14th

I am a Leo and my birthday was yesterday, the ol' 58 number! I guess it comes sooner or later, I never thought I would see this day. It was a nice day, my husband was home, well with his back surgery last week, he will be home for awhile and I love that. He is sleeping most of the day but up and sitting now with his laptop. Emma and Jordan are chewing on natural rawhide bones. She is teething Big time! Those little girl teeth are coming out for the Big girl teeth to come in. We found one and I will put it in the clear stuff in a cap bottle when I find out how folks do it.

Anyway, I am talking to you like I really talk, getting around to the point, grins!
Bob gave me a Mini-DVD player that I can use in Daisy when camping in the evenings or a rainy day, at least I envision this. I put in Marie Antoniette right away to enjoy a little eye candy. I got myself the book, " The Last Lecture" when I was at Wal*Mart grocery shopping. He is watching it right now on the internet, but I want to have it for the special points he makes to really think on. A very special book , it is! Yes! My daughter Lisa came over and gave me a mini-Rose plant, it is so pretty and I hope I can keep it alive. She and her DH also gave me a Galileo Thermometer, a Large Size one. I just love it, But I forgot the photo of it.
As I was taking a photo of the rose plant, I just gathered some things together I love, I wish I had them on my desk all the time to see them.
I saw this in a blog yesterday and love the idea. I had also done it for a Vintage Thursday photo not so long ago. It just gives me good feelings to see visuals.

Well, I am back , I Left and forgot what I was doing when I remembered I needed to renew my driver's license, I had a fairly good hair day and thought, get it over with! So I did, and I stopped also and saw a couple of friends which I rarely do. Of course, they have shops and I splurged on a fine Eddie Baur Manniquin form. That will be later. For now, I will continue with my birthday and favorite things I was doing to begin with. It is wierd coming back as the tone has changed I am sure. It is now Saturday morning.

Here, here we go, My Cake!

My mini-rose plant,

Lovely Things,

I hope you enjoy as I did!
smiles, cyndi
