Dog Park and Collecting Tree and Nuts information

View with Full screen
It is only to be 11 photos but flicker is making it show more, I am trying to fix this, just X on screen to stop it

We took Emma and Bailey to the Dog Park in Homewood, Alabama yesterday and I know I am a little old for learning about trees and the products they drop to the ground but, can someone help me identify the leaves and ground fallings' from the trees?

I collect acorns all the time but I never have seen the shaggy pod they have come from yesterday.  They were very interesting and some were green after just falling and some were already opened and the acorn away from the pod. These are interesting shapes and sizes to me, I do nature jars and  I like to know what I am dealing with.

Elms, Oaks, Maples,  Cedar, Sycamore? These are some I am thinking they might be!

I also threw the tennis ball a lot from the ground and I have never in my life had poison ivy but I sure developed a rash last night around my neck, face, arms and upper body.  I took two Benadryl and fell asleep on the sofa where I woke up this AM.  Cold, I may add! It was in the 50's as we had a screen window open.

While out, we went to Harbor Freight, one of my favorite store,s and exchanged my rock/stone tumbler from the duel drum to the large round top vibratory tumbler.  I sure hope it works better than the duel drum as we went through 4 belts trying to get it to tumble some glass and light stones.  They did exchange it with no problem I am very happy to say as I expected a problem since I had no ticket, but, where else could I have bought it, it has their name all over it.  I expect big things with this one.

I also got an air gun to paint with. I have been using canned paint spray and am wearing my fingers and thumb our where they have no feeling anymore.  I have painted several picture frames, flower pots, decks, tables, and etergie' lately to put in my consignment store. I got the idea form the store owner, Susan, who was painting a dining table the other day and I have one I got exactly like it only mince has two table extensions.

It has white legs with a butcher block look on the  top and is dirty where I cannot get it clean.  I may follow through also with a black or white paint.

Till later, and please comment,
Smiles, Cyndi
