Welcome March!

A busy day! My Dear Husband took off work today to help get my market store reset to a new loaction. We are in the same complex, just a smaller site. I will sure miss the wall space and lighting but not the high rent $.

We actually got alot of the furniture moved yesterday afternoon, but I had no merchandise priced and tagged yet this Am so it was 1PM by the time we got there. It went faster than expected and it is set, I suppose, Ijust had to add the merchandise. Maybe some same things back and some new Easter and spring things.

I checked into my ebay site and tried to visit my Glad Tidings Primative Sisters and here I am. I went to EaglesNest Site and Linda Pinda from post they mentioned and then I added the guestbook so now I need to get back and say "HI" on our groups area there.

ebay has been more than just me, as I have met so many awesome friendly people through the groups area. I just wish I had time in every day to visit each. This blog has got the most traffic of anything I have done and I am so happy and grateful for setting it up with this fine group of Sisters in Glad Tidings, We have all made web-site and Photos through the Keeping Room area, see the links on side page area( the one with the tea kettle on and the aprons by the door to save your pretty dresses from soiling) This is so fun!

We also heard today from our friends we dog-site for, Actually it is my dogs puppy, "Alley" and her sister Maggie. They are so fun to keep and be with when their parents go to Greece again and Sicily in April. We will go to North Carolina. mmm, On Tv they are talking about the tornado's that hit in ALabama one year ago at Enterprise High School in south Alabama and we had just arrived at their Florida home to keep the girls while they went to the Carribean for an anniversry cruise.
We have kept them 2 times a year lately and love every moment of it.

We have had an wesome day here today, light wind and warm, 65 and sunny, PERFECT for me. No humidity like in the summer....

Angelina of Angelina's trinkents also just told me I won here tatttered teddy bear and I can't wait to receive it . I also wil post the photo of the picture altered art I received and see if anyone will tell me who sent it. I love it and had it right here by me. I will add it to my altered art wall with ACEO gifts, so far this makes four. And I love every one. the other three were thru the Effa Zine and that is my Altered Art Blog. I think I have too many blogs. NO WAY! smiles, cyndi

Brrr, cold morning

It is 25 degrees out this AM and I need to get back to getting organized. My DH has returned to work from his off days ad we seem to do errands and we DID make it to the grocery store, We needed it bad!

So, I need to get things ready for my market stall move to smaller site within same antique store and check on merchandise at my other one. I got a new wholesale shipment in last night, and I can't wait to get it out and in my Dragonfly Dreams shoppes.

I got some fabulous new sachets and gift packs. I like the magnet idea and wil order those also. How I love the vintage reproductions! I have to me out of my large market stall and move into the new smaller one Saturday AM. My DH took of work to help me move. It requires some heavy furniture like a bookcase and he will use a dolly to move it so not to ingure his back he is getting shots in for relief. I imagine I could get store personnel help, but be wants to be there. He also will put some shutters I got up to expand the height of my new area, since I will lose my wall space. I will NOT sell the photos I used to try to sell as they were not moving anyway, I will take them to my Hoover location.

Ok, off to another cup of coffee.

Angelina has a very beautiful blog and it is very inspiring. What friends we have met thru this Blogger adventure started really with One World, One Heart by visiting each other's blogs and how did we know so many would start etsy boutiques also.
Well ok, to be tagged means I need to tell seven things about myself, some random and some wierd.

And what I am learning about blogs:

1. Mmm, seven things, well, I always considered 7 (seven) to be a lucky or loved number by myself. I just like the way it looks and sounds. who knows why I feel this way about the number # 7?, I do choose it alot when picking numbers, smiles! Is this random or wierd?

2. Tell about myself... I love purple, anything purple. I picked this up from my friend Ann who I use to work with in the 80's and we are still friends after 20 years, hard to believe that many years now have zoomed by so fast.

3. I also love dragonflys, passionately! We lived in Seattle area in Sumner, WA and this dragonfly(s) visited my back deck several times that summer. Even landed on my arm several times and we conversed, yes, we did! It was blue and I now have a tatoo of it on my forearm when I can see it and enjoy it's memory. That was a very special summer, we lived in a log home in the Pacific Northwest with TALL, TALL Fir Trees and my heart has always been there since. Even more than before we moved there. I love the water of the sea and the mountain forests and they are together in that area. Better than Colorado even, in my heart; I love the West.

4. But, I also have to learn to live where planted like Mary Englebret says! So I try to make the best of what I have. Sometimes it is a struggle to find happiness, but, I just have to let it be what is it and quit trying so hard to find it. I have truely found NEW happiness in the blogger forums and meeting so many wonderful and artful friends. Seeing their creations just makes me yearn to settle down more and do what is in me, in my heart! I want to do so many things and I am my own worst enemy with my time.

5. I am thankful for my family and what we have been through. Maybe not more than most but I do feel that we have done alot in our lives together and been blessed to have had it, had it taken away, and have our memories. We are Blessed!

6. This is going fast; and I can't run anymore. I still can't even wear shoes and socks due to my neuropathy and getting the spinal stimulator implant has not helped get past that ~ as I had hoped. But, I ran plenty when I could, we ran thru fields, ran races, skipped, jumped and teeter-tottered in Stanley Park, Vancouver, BC to our hearts content while watching the cricket players in their white suits, the totum poles and a suprise luncheon at the Tea House overlooking Elliot Bay. It couldn't be finer, and we experienced it. ;-)

7. I yearn to learn digital art to make collage albums of our trips and adventures
plus my fairy/dragonfly/elfish yearning to make my altered art with fibers, paints, paper, fabric, whatever. I have a garageful of collections of my findings over the last year. I prefer to find my owm embellishments rather than go buy new and then just make what my thoughts become. So far, my ACEO card, wall cone hanging and Halloween wall art were made moment by moment, having no idea what would come next, just letting my mind wander thru the experience. What fun!

ok, seven came very fast, did I do it right?, I will not re-read and delete as those are first thoughts. Maybe tomorrow it will be completely different seven thoughts

A Present for me?

I received in the mail today a misterious present of a beautiful altered art vintage photo of two young girls, maybe sisters or best friends?, they have an angel overlooking their shoulders with large wings spread over their shoulders!
It also has the word "faith" on it. IT IS AWESOME! I love it and I thank you to you whoever you are and it came from here in Alabama. Oh, how I wonder which blog is yours that I must have posted too in the "One World, One Heart" Exchange?

The post on Valentine's Day has made its way down in my February collasped list on the right sidebar!

That was sure a fun month and hard to believe is only two weeks ago!

I love it and appreciate it! giGGLeS! :-) I love surprises!

I have to go downsize my market space tonight as we are to also have a store-wide meeting. My DH will go help me.

I will post a photo tomorrow if my treasured gift!

PS: It has turned so cold here today and it poured rain and blew wind here last night. Jordan was up and so scared, we were awake alot. To freezing tonight and I good night for hot chocolate and a good cover!
